Our motto:

All the living human should go to bed after having been fed and nobody should be let of without food. The world should be upgraded by giving education and wisdom to all children.

Taking fully into account, the situation and needs of the each feedless child we feed them regularly.

We fought for the women's equality and female human rights.
Women continued to be the poorest of poor and left out of the centres of power. By our activities we wanted to increase the ability of women to participate effectively in their societies.

There are 400 children to be supported to their education, etc., in our organisation, trust.

A whole village of women to be supported to their self employment, etc., by giving necessary valuable training in all the fields to the women folk.

We began this charitable organisation in February 2004 with a few thousands of Indian rupees that we ourselves donated. The speciality of our association is all the members of this association are women alone. The members of our association are not wealthy so we had to obtained money from somewhere else to realize our dream.

Amidst all these activities, we also served for the tsunami affected victims on the black Sunday on December, 26 of 2004. We took immediate relief work on the affected seashore area by providing basic amenities such as food, shelter etc., immediately after the tsunami hit.

We have a single storey house was rented as childrens' care and office premises which does not have enough space for accommodation of children and women. There is a dream of constructing our own house for the destitute children in near future for which we have initiated a building fund to construct a new premises.

Abay is supported largely be individual donors and corporation who believe in our service. This includes donations of basic necessities such as rice, clothing, to jumble sales, to fund raising campaigns to monitory contribution this has helped us keep our doors and phone lines open to orphan and destitute children and women for the past one-and-half a years.
